We are seeking a dynamic insurance sales professional to join our Affinity team at Marsh as a Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Consultant .
This role will be based at a Marsh office location and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity to engage with franchise owners within Marsh’s national-name accounts and play a critical role in driving business growth.
In this role, you will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and deliver tailored, value-driven insurance solutions . Core to this role will be your ability to build trusted relationships, influence decision-makers, and drive new business acquisition across multiple franchise owners.
This role offers a competitive base salary complemented by a high-performing, uncapped commission structure , rewarding your success and entrepreneurial mindset.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and manage a prospect list with the ability to prioritize lead and contact cycles, leveraging a strategic and data-driven sales approach .
- Maintain a sales funnel with the ability to move prospects close, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and conversion excellence .
- Build strong internal relationships with other sales professionals to share best practices, collaborate, and drive collective success in engaging franchise owners.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously learning and adapting to evolving sales techniques, new insurance products, and dynamic market conditions.
What you need to have:
- 2 - 3 Years of experience on commercial insurance.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
- A consultative sales approach with a focus on solution-based selling and client-centric engagement .

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,900 to $137,200.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
