About the role

Are you ready to blaze a new trail and join an exciting team at the heart of energy trading? As our very first Data Management Analyst in the US Back Office team, you’ll step into a brand-new role designed to shape how RWE Supply & Trading supports its expanding business in North America, while staying tightly connected with our teams in Germany and the UK. This is your chance to blend creativity and established best practices, contributing unique, impactful solutions and making your mark on a rapidly growing business.

• Act as the go-to coordinator and first point of contact for data management automation for the US Back Office and Accounting teams
• Assist in setting up payment instructions (SSI's) and manage onboarding of new counterparties through data mapping
• Investigate and resolve payment mapping issues, ensuring correct master data setups for smooth processing
• Train and empower internal stakeholders to use Back Office and Accounting processes efficiently Shape the future by developing scalable and sustainable setups for payment, invoicing, and data mapping needs
  

Job requirements and experience

• Outstanding problem-solving skills, confident tackling issues directly and suggesting creative solutions
• Ability to quickly learn and comprehend system architectures, understanding how applications interface and communicate
• Excellent attention to detail paired with strong analytical skills and the ability to build effective relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, ready to make RWE an even greater place to work Passion for innovation and bringing fresh, forward-thinking perspectives to the team
  

Advantageous, but not essential

• Familiarity with SAP or ENDUR platforms
• Exposure to trading, banking, or the energy industry Experience as a self-starter, comfortable working both collaboratively and independently to drive projects forward
