Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based position is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting elementary students in a dynamic learning environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, providing behavioral support and interventions that foster student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist.
• Monitor and document student progress related to behavior goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies.
• Utilize data collection and analysis to inform treatment adjustments.
• Support students in developing social, communication, and functional skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
• Experience working within elementary school settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow behavior plans and collect accurate data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining positive relationships with students and staff.

Location: Waukegan, Illinois (Elementary School setting)

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks
• Average of 35 hours per week
• Contract duration aligned with the school year, ending mid-June
