We are seeking a professional, dependable, and safety-oriented Box Truck Owner-Operator to join our logistics network as an independent contractor. This partnership is ideal for a driver who owns their vehicle and is looking for consistent, high-volume freight with a reliable partner, or lease to own.

Key Responsibilities of the Owner-Operator:

• Safe and Efficient Transport: Safely and promptly transport goods, materials, or merchandise to various destinations (local, regional, or long-haul, depending on the contract).
• Vehicle Operation & Maintenance: Operate a [Specify truck size, e.g., 26-foot] box truck, ensuring it is in optimal working condition at all times. This includes performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and arranging all necessary preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Loading/Unloading Cargo: Assist with the safe and proper loading and unloading of cargo as required, using equipment such as lift gates and pallet jacks.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies, maintaining accurate logs and records (e.g., electronic logging devices if required).
• Documentation and Paperwork: Accurately complete and verify all required paperwork for each shipment, delivery, and pick-up.
• Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and pickups, acting as a positive representative for both your independent business and our partner company.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely delivery and maximize fuel efficiency.

• Licensing & Insurance: A valid driver's license (CDL not always required for box trucks under 26,000 lbs GVWR, but a valid DOT medical card is). Must maintain required commercial insurance coverage.
• Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations.
• Experience: 4 plus of verifiable box truck driving or related transportation experience.
• Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Physical Requirements: Physical stamina and ability to lift up to [e.g., 75] lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
