Lead Teachers must meet Illinois DCFS licensing requirements , including:

• A minimum of 60 college credit hours (with required ECE coursework) or
• An ECE credential/degree as recognized by DCFS
• Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting

Job Summary

Duties

• Lead classroom activities and implement curriculum development strategies aligned with developmental milestones
• Foster a positive learning environment by managing behavior and promoting social-emotional skills
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
• Mentor and support fellow educators, guiding them in classroom management and lesson planning
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff as you prepare for management opportunities
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain detailed documentation of children's development, assessments, and daily activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
