Founded in 1960, Dot Foods is North America's largest food industry redistributor and one of the largest private, family-owned businesses in the country with 13 distribution centers in the U.S.; a corporate sales office in St. Louis, Missouri; two locations in Canada; and a joint venture in Mexico. Job Highlights

• Operate company equipment to transport product safely and efficiently
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), etc.
• Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods
• Meet company goals, including managing MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
• Read and understand load paperwork, product, and packaging descriptions

Candidate Profile

• Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report is required
• Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements are required (can be obtained during training)
• Strong tenure from most recent places of employment
• Must be able to pass a physical ability test
• Able to be away from home 3-6 days per week
