JOB DESCRIPTION: Material Control

SUMMARY:

iCONN Systems, LLC is a manufacturer of connectors, cable assemblies and value added turnkey products with facilities in North America and Southeast Asia serving global markets. RESPONSIBILITIES:

iCONN Systems material control handler works within the shipping and receiving department. The material control handler must be able to complete the following tasks:

• Load, unload and move materials within worksite.
• Read work orders and/or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using hand tools.
• Lifting heavy objects by hand.
• Pulling and kitting material from inventory.
• Perform Shipping Transactions via UPS WorldShip and FedEx or any other means as deemed necessary.
• LTL shipment; Bill of lading creation
• Additional duties include measuring and cutting cables to predetermined lengths.
• Perform Cycle Counting functions.
• Receive parts into inventory off of Purchase Orders·
• Perform other job duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be forklift certified or willing to become certified
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Ability to measure, convert, and calculate with accuracy.

Salary Range:

• $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
