Relocation: Yes, nationwide relocation available About the Role We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Tax Senior Manager (Provisions) to join our corporate tax practice. In this leadership role, you will manage business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects (tax provision preparation or audit support) for a diverse portfolio of large, multi-state, and global companies. This position is a primary pathway to Partner or Managing Director , offering opportunities to grow your career, lead high-impact engagements, and strengthen our firm's market presence. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while building and developing high-performing tax teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee multiple client service teams on complex tax engagements, ensuring quality and efficiency from planning to completion. Provide strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting services across a range of industries. Actively participate in business development , leveraging your network to identify opportunities, secure engagements, and achieve revenue goals. Manage engagement fundamentals, including realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses. Mentor, develop, and train team members; conduct performance evaluations and support career growth. Review and provide guidance on complex corporate tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions. Research complex tax matters and deliver practical, client-focused solutions. Maintain strong client relationships as the primary service contact , ensuring exceptional service delivery. Collaborate with colleagues across offices and the Washington National Tax Office (WNTO) for technical support and thought leadership. Adhere to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality. Qualifications Non-Negotiable Requirements: CPA license (active) Significant ASC 740 tax provision experience Public accounting experience with a Top 15 accounting firm (Top 10 preferred) Proven experience in corporate tax for large, multi-state, national, or global companies Willingness to work hybrid with a minimum of 2 days/week in the office Preferred Skills / Nice-to-Have: Professional services and public accounting background with Top 10 firm experience Strong knowledge of ONESOURCE Tax Provision software Broad expertise in corporate income tax, state/local tax, and international taxation Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Why Join Us Pathway to Leadership: Direct route to Partner or Managing Director.
