Senior IT Program Manager

Financial management and tracking:

• Manage program budget, forecasts, and financial reporting across all workstreams
• Track spend against plan and provide variance analysis
• Partner with finance and leadership on prioritization decisions and investment tradeoffs

Change Management

• Partner with business/technical teams to ensure smooth transition of upgraded systems into production support
• Coordinate change management, documentation updates, and operational training where required

Governance:

• Develop and maintain the technical debt remediation roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on risk and business impact
• Coordinate dependencies with other enterprise programs and modernization initiatives
• Maintain a centralized inventory of technical debt items and track remediation progress across the enterprise
• Lead program oversight across multiple technical debt remediation projects running in parallel
• Create and maintain program-level status reporting, executive presentations, dashboards, and portfolio health updates
• Provide clear visibility into risks, dependencies, timelines, recommendations, and red/yellow/green status across the program
• Drive weekly project reviews, daily/weekly standups, status meetings, and working sessions
• Coordinate across infrastructure, application, IT operations, and vendor/MSP teams to keep workstreams aligned
• Track program milestones, resource needs, dependencies, and escalation items
• Partner with senior leadership and executive sponsors to communicate progress, risks, and decisions needed
• Bring structure and governance to a fast-evolving program and establish repeatable operating cadence
• Ensure appropriate testing, validation, operational readiness, and transition considerations are accounted for across initiatives

• 8 years of program/project management experience, with demonstrated experience leading large, complex enterprise programs
• Proven success managing programs and/or portfolios with multiple concurrent technical projects
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT modernization efforts, technical debt remediation programs, or similar
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business/executive stakeholders
• Strong executive presence and ability to build high-quality presentations and program updates for leadership
• Technical fluency to understand and communicate around application upgrades, infrastructure refreshes, server-related work, testing, validation, and operational risk
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, resource planning, and program governance at scale.
• Familiarity with IT operations / service management environments and managed service provider coordination
• Overseeing 20 projects simultaneously
• Managed an IT budget of $5M
