Slips Hideaway is an elevated lakeside dining destination where fresh ingredients, highquality dishes, and unforgettable views come together. Our kitchen will be the heart of the experience delivering food that matches the ambiance of a premier dockside retreat.

We are assembling a skilled and reliable backofhouse team to support our grand opening at Kinkaid Marina.

Positions Available: Kitchen Staff

• Line Cooks
• Prep Cooks
• Dishwashers / Utility Staff
• Expo / Food Runners

Responsibilities (varies by role)

Line & Prep Cooks

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Ensure consistent presentation and portion control
• Support kitchen leadership during high-volume service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling guidelines
• Assist with prep, restocking, and closing procedures

Dishwashers / Utility Staff

• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean plates, cookware, and utensils
• Keep kitchen, prep areas, and floors clean and hazardfree
• Assist cooks and staff as needed during peak hours

Expo / Food Runners

• Coordinate plated dishes from kitchen to dining area
• Ensure accuracy, presentation, and timing
• Communicate clearly between kitchen and front-of-house teams

What Were Looking For

• Prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
• Dependability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and peak lake-season days
