Director of Care - Site Manager

Visiting Angels of Rockford is a premier non-medical home care company dedicated to providing compassionate care and exceptional service. We match clients with caregivers to assist with bathing, transfers, meal prep, housekeeping, companionship, and much more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 Base with a $20,000-$50,000+ Bonus Structure

Benefits: Dental & Vision insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off

Schedule: Monday to Friday, On Call

Territory: Rockford plus surrounding cities within Winnebago and Boone Counties | Beloit WI

• Location: office is located at 3600 East State Street in Rockford

• Industry: Non-medical home care

• Size: large agency (~130 clients/caregivers — 6 office staff)

• Scope of Work: This is a hybrid operational + HR + marketing + compliance role — demanding, with growth responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For Our Director of Care to Have:

• 3 years of experience with operations in home care, home health, or healthcare strongly preferred
• A preference will be given to candidates with a RN, LPN, PT, OT, PTA, or COTA license
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of 4+ years of relevant work experience)
• Proven leader with strong management skills (5+ years of experience preferred)
• Possess a driven and independent spirit motivated by achieving results
• Proactive with foreseeing potential issues and providing appropriate resolution
• Ability to work independently and have a positive influence on team
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and encourage collaboration within a diverse team that results in achievement of goals
• Community-focused with a passion for business development
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Office systems, scheduling systems, and business operations

This is an engaged leadership role where you'll be managing a dynamic team, maintaining a strong office presence, and actively engaging in the community to build relationships and drive growth and success of Visiting Angels.
