As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement, support, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions for our organization's applications and services. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems through operational activities that align with industry best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor and support the organization’s Azure Cloud Computing platform and Windows Server environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Design and configure resilient infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of the business, leveraging Virtual Machines, AKS, Managed SQL Instances, Logic Apps, and other services.
- Implement and support cloud network and security services, including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups, Azure Private Networking, DNS, Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door.
- Administer and support the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, primarily focused on Exchange, Teams, Teams Telephony, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and lead related testing efforts.
- Onboard, offboard, and routinely audit the organization’s user and application identities using Entra ID while adhering to Identity and Access Management best practices.
- Configure endpoint devices using Intune and monitor to ensure compliance.
- Configure and support Cisco Meraki network hardware, Microsoft’s Power Platform, and email APIs such as SendGrid.
- Respond to security alerts to eradicate threats within the environment.
- Investigate and respond to email phishing alert reports and quarantine release requests.
- Lead and contribute to various infrastructure improvement projects and initiatives.
- Monitor infrastructure services to proactively identify and remediate issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation and perform off-hours support and maintenance as required.
- Contribute to and maintain technical and procedural documentation.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our infrastructure remains up to date.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology roles.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience administering M365 environments with an emphasis on Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting the Azure Cloud Computing Platform with an emphasis on Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, SQL managed instance, and Azure firewall.
- Advanced knowledge of security and network protocols.
- Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with automation and scripting, particularly using PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, CCNA) are a plus.
At JSSI, we are committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their contributions and talent.
For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $100,000 to $110,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
