The Delivery Coordinator will coordinate the branch functions relating to scheduling of deliveries, pulling of delivery orders and effective routing of trucks. Duties & Responsibilities General
  • Coordinates with staff to provide accurate delivery windows and updates throughout the day.
  • Maintains and updates daily and future delivery boards to ensure accurate scheduling.
  • Schedules drivers, vehicles, and delivery routes to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitors and reconciles invoice preview queue with delivery board twice daily.
  • Ensures all trucks are properly routed, loaded, and prepared for next-day deliveries.
  • Plans and executes secondary and tertiary delivery runs as needed.
  • Confirms delivery times and changes with customers and communicate updates promptly.
  • Reports delivery-related issues including complaints, safety concerns, delays, and incidents to the assigned manager immediately.
  • Ensures daily completion of vehicle inspection reports.
Warehouse
  • Performs general warehouse duties including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and working across departments as needed.
  • Accurately picks and distributes sales orders, transfers, and will-call items in a timely manner.
  • Supports efficient shipping and receiving processes, including unloading, verifying, and staging products.
  • Organizes inventory by type, size, and product code; maintain a clean, safe, and accessible workspace.
  • Loads and secures outgoing shipments in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Operates warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintains accurate aisle assignments and follow order/receiving procedures.
Inventory Control
  • Assists in physical inventory counts and ensures accurate stock handling.
  • Inspects incoming and outgoing products for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Verifies freight accuracy against bills of lading and packing slips.
  • Reports inventory and location discrepancies promptly and accurately.
Safety
  • Follows all safety protocols and wears required protective gear.
  • Conducts routine safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
  • Immediately reports and addresses unsafe conditions, injuries, or accidents.
  • Completes all required incident documentation accurately and on time.
Other
  • Safety Sensitive Position : the ability to perform job functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent
  • 3 or more years' experience with office, warehouse, and related functions.
  • Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and transfer processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
  • Proficient in using office technology, including computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems, and virtual meeting platforms, as required for daily responsibilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment This position may require up to 40-43 hours per week and involves regular physical activity, including:
  • Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Operating forklifts and material handling equipment for up to 6 hours daily.
  • Regular bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Pushing/pulling objects up to 300 lbs. occasionally.
  • Prolonged use of hands, arms, and feet for equipment operation.
  • Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
