Position: Server / Bartender

Location: Big O's Sports Bar – 907 Main St, Highland Square, IL

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time - $9 per Hour Plus Tips.

Big O’s Sports Bar & Grill

Patio season is almost here and Big O’s Sports Bar in Highland Square is gearing up for warm weather, cold drinks, and busy nights! We’re looking for motivated, outgoing Servers and Bartenders to join our team.

*Responsibilities:

As a Server:

-Welcome guests and provide an excellent dining experience

-Take food and drink orders accurately and make menu recommendations

-Serve food and beverages quickly and efficiently

-Engage with guests, ensuring they have a great experience from start to finish

-Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables and service areas

-Process payments and handle transactions properly

-Work as a team player, assisting co-workers when needed

As a Bartender:

-Prepare and serve Schlafly’s craft beers, cocktails, and other beverages

-Engage with customers at the bar, providing friendly conversation and recommendations

-Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area

-Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly

-Stock inventory and handle bar setup/breakdown

-Support the service team by preparing drinks for the dining room as needed

Requirements:

-Experience as a server or bartender (preferred, but willing to train the right person)

-Basic knowledge of craft beers, cocktails, and food pairings (or willingness to learn)

-Great customer service skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude

-Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

-Must be at least 18 years old (or per state alcohol service laws)

-Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and game days

Hours:

Tuesday – Sunday: 10 AM – 11 PM (Bar may have later hours)
