Painter - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:

• Starting Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/Hour.
• Full Time.
• Benefits: $2,500 signing bonus (will be paid over a 12 month period), 10 Vacation Days (Paid Time Off), 9 Holidays, Attendance Bonus, 401K with company match, Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance.

We are seeking skilled Painter to work with precision in a manufacturing environment. We design and manufacture our machinery from the ground up and this position provides a great opportunity to strengthen your personal skills and knowledge with an ever-growing company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Experienced in all aspects of air assisted airless paint spraying.
• Must pass medical evaluation for respirator use; respirator mandatory when painting.
• Ability to set up entire paint system and make adjustments as needed to insure a high quality paint job.
• Ability to clean and maintain equipment according to company procedures.
• Requires little supervision to perform tasks assigned.
• Ability to follow documented processes.
• Ability to do quality control on equipment before and after painting.
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
• Forklift and over-head crane operation a plus.
• Ability to meet production standards.
• Maintain good attendance record and be able to work overtime as required.
• Maintain good safety record.
• Maintain positive attitude.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Depending on job classification, may require basic math and/or tape measure reading.
• Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
