Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Clinic Director who shares our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable with the fast-paced, evolving landscape of the industry.
The Clinic Director will lead and grow a mental health clinic that delivers high-quality, innovative, and patient-centered services to individuals and families. They will dedicate 60-80% of their time to client-facing work and use the remaining 20-40% to oversee operations, assist with clinical program development, and supervise therapists. As a key leader in the organization, the Clinic Director will play a pivotal role in the clinic’s success. A combination of strong clinical and management experience is essential for this role. Client-Facing (60-80% of time)
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy to clients, tailoring your approach to each individual's unique needs.
- Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative, personalized treatment experiences, leveraging cutting-edge technology and novel therapies.
- Assist in developing best practices to improve the client-therapist relationship and overall client experience.
Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training clinical staff and ensuring that they are properly licensed and credentialed
- Assess ongoing development and training needs; conduct training as needed
- Manage staff performance, holding each team member accountable to meeting performance expectations
- Provide clinical oversight to the clinic’s mental health practitioners and professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers
- Provide 1:1 consultation with therapy staff as needed to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation
Clinic Oversight and Leadership
- Provide administrative oversight to support the functioning of the clinic
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services
- Collaborate with owner to implement strategies for clinical efficiency
- Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and office supplies
- Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with owner
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois (LCSW or LCPC)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience post-licensure, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to work independently and autonomously in managing clinical operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a go-getter attitude ready to drive initiatives forward
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage and supervise a diverse team of clinical staff
