Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Gallatin, Tennessee (37066) – Tennessee nursing jobs near Nashville
• Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center, Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/08/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840
• Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel RN contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required for Tennessee healthcare jobs)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficient IV insertion skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units

RN Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertions and administer medications using Omnicell dispensing system
• Document patient care in Meditech EHR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other Med/Surg nursing units as needed
