Area Manager
Our client is seeking an Area Manager to support its Rotary Drilling Division in the greater Gainesville, FL area. This role acts as a key connector between sales teams and factory operations, helping drive business development, support strategic sales initiatives, and ensure successful delivery of customer solutions. The ideal candidate brings experience in mining or heavy equipment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a global, matrixed environment. work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and customers through consistent communication and leadership
- Develop and execute business development plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate across divisions to align on strategic sales opportunities and key initiatives
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to ensure products and solutions meet market needs Support sales teams with pipeline management, forecasting, and ongoing sales opportunities
- Drive profitability by ensuring each sales case is aligned with financial and operational targets
- Provide sales support by reviewing contracts, evaluating tools, and processing customer orders
- Act as the main point of contact between sales and factory operations to manage order details, changes, and priorities
- Train and support frontline sales teams on product knowledge and customer applications
- Promote and uphold safety standards while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the mining, construction, or heavy equipment industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- strong ability to bridge technical and commercial teams, with proven experience supporting sales and driving business results
- Technical competence to collaborate with customers and engineering teams on equipment or construction/mining applications.
