Join AREA WIDE WATERPROOFING INC as a Jr Structural Foreman in Mokena, IL, where you will play a vital role in overseeing structural projects. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality waterproofing solutions. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations on structural job sites.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Assist in training new employees on best practices.
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed work.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management is a plus.
- Previous experience in structural or construction roles preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
