About Maximus Clinical Services and PASRR:

Maximus is an industry leader in providing specialized assessment services, ensuring that the individuals and populations we serve receive the appropriate care and supports necessary to promote the best quality of life.

We are partnered with the State of Illinois to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.

PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that all individuals seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility are evaluated for mental illness, offered the most appropriate setting for their needs, and receive the services they need in those settings.

Position Details:

We are partnering with Master's-level, adult clinical behavioral heath professionals in Illinois to administer PASRR assessments on a PRN basis.

• This is an independent contractor position.
• Assessments can be accepted or declined as your schedule allows. There are no quotas.
• PASRR assessments are primarily administered in hospitals and nursing facilities.
• There is no office to report to.
• Independent contractors are compensated per completed assessment.

We are seeking candidates in the following counties: Lake and Rock Island .

We are not accepting applicants in the Chicago area at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Complete PASRR assessments in your community and surrounding communities.
• Assessments must be completed in-person and typically take place in a hospital or nursing facility.
• Assessments must be completed within 24-hours from the time of acceptance.
• Windows-based PC is required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a human services or related field. Professional license is not required.
• Minimum of two years clinical mental health experience.
• Must have a minimum of two years' experience working in a behavioral health capacity specifically with an adult population.
• Must be conflict of interest free, which includes: no current employment by the State of Illinois, nursing facilities, prime agencies, or managed care organizations.
