SLP
We are looking for a talented In-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA or SLP-CF to join our team for the school year.
Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings.
- Address challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and provide consultation as needed.
- Educate and support staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) License.
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
