Executive Assistant to CEO

LaSalle Network is partnering with a mission-driven performing arts organization to hire an Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable acting as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership.

The Executive Assistant to CEO will play a critical role in managing the CEO’s priorities, supporting organizational operations and serving as a trusted proxy to leadership, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.

Executive Assistant to CEO Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO
• Manage complex, ever-changing calendars with urgency and accuracy
• Coordinate travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
• Prepare the CEO for meetings by ensuring materials, context and follow-ups are organized in advance
• Handle internal and external correspondence on behalf of the CEO
• Process and track executive expenses
• Support office operations, including supplies, logistics and cross-functional coordination
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to support decision-making and execution in a rapidly evolving environment
• Anticipate needs, proactively resolve issues and take ownership of both executive and operational support

Executive Assistant to CEO Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth or evolving organization
• Ability to operate with urgency and adaptability amid change and organizational restructuring
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally at all levels
• Experience supporting board meetings and executive presentations
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and comfort working in project management tools such as Asana
• Demonstrated ability to learn context quickly, think strategically and act as a trusted partner to leadership

The pay for this position is $30–$45 per hour; comprehensive benefits are offered through LaSalle Network. This position follows a hybrid schedule with required on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday in downtown Chicago.
