Job Title: Residential Service Plumber

A successful Residential Service Plumber is a skilled and mechanically inclined individual who consistently delivers efficient and effective repairs and installations. You will diagnose and troubleshoot a wide array of plumbing issues with ease, ensuring customer satisfaction and the proper functioning of plumbing systems. Your expertise extends to the installation and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Execute precise and efficient plumbing, drain cleaning, and in-home service calls.

• Build strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Educate customers on residential plumbing needs, financial options, and maintenance plans.

• Provide expert technical support for effective problem resolution.

• Exceed revenue goals through adherence to established sales criteria.

• Stay updated on manufacturer products and actively engage in training sessions.

• Diagnose and resolve a range of plumbing issues with appropriate tools.

• Mentor apprentices, contributing to a skilled workforce.

• Maintain an organized job site and well-inventoried truck for efficiency.

• Uphold high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience

• Valid 058 IL state plumbing license is REQUIRED

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plumbing processes

• A clean and safe driving record.

• Exceptional customer communication skills.

• A team player who thrives in both collaborative and independent settings.

• An enthusiastic and positive individual eager to embrace challenges.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time, prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders, and ability to work outside in varying temperatures.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $45.00 - $52.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
