Program Associate

Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below: 1. Provides administrative and clerical support for the WIC Food and Nutrition Program's regional office administrative staff with tasks including but not limited to: filing; preparing correspondence, as directed, updating important documents, submitting Check Requests, sorting and distributing mail, and taking and distributing meeting notes. 2. Maintains up-to-date and accurate departmental files, documents, outlook calendars and databases, and completes documentation, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations. 3. Plans, coordinates and prepares materials for trainings and/or meetings for WIC staff, as needed, and tracks all internal and external trainings attended by WIC staff. 4. Assists with monitoring the progress of operational goals and objectives, and special projects, as needed and has knowledge to compile and analyze programmatic data. 5. Keeps an accurate inventory of program supplies and equipment and places orders when needed. 6. Acts as the liaison between the Regional Operations Team and the WIC Center Directors. 7. Answers and resolves basic inquiries and concerns and defers complex inquiries to supervisor or the appropriate Regional Operations Team member. 8. Responsible for maintaining, updating and submitting routine and ad-hoc reports, as necessary. 9. Trained and prepared to place day-to-day WIC Food Center Inventory orders, as necessary and in the absence of the WIC Inventory Specialist. May be required to work evenings, weekends, special events and/or holidays, as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education: Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Minimum: Associate's Degree in Business
Relevant Experience: Preferred: 7+ years of administrative experience Minimum: 5-7 years of administrative experience
