Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Time board-certified Telehealth Physician with a strong interest and background in Obesity Medicine to join a rapidly growing virtual care practice. This is a fully remote opportunity providing 100% video-based synchronous patient care in a collaborative and technology-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is experienced in virtual care delivery, passionate about weight management and metabolic health, and comfortable managing patients through live video visits

Care Model

The clinic operates on a fully virtual, synchronous telehealth care model utilizing scheduled video visits with patients.

In addition to video appointments, providers are responsible for managing asynchronous patient communication through message baskets and are expected to respond to patient inquiries within 48 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual video visits with patients focused on obesity medicine, weight management, and related chronic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans
• Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and therapies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Review labs, diagnostics, and patient-reported outcomes
• Manage asynchronous patient communication and message baskets in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based virtual care

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Obesity Medicine
• Prior synchronous telehealth experience required
• Experience conducting video-based patient visits independently
• Active medical licenses in multiple states required-Must Have GA license
• Strong communication and virtual bedside manner
• DEA if applicable
• Comfortable utilizing EMR systems and telehealth technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in obesity medicine, metabolic health, lifestyle medicine, or weight management programs
• Familiarity with GLP-1 medications and chronic weight management therapies
• Experience managing asynchronous patient messaging workflows
• CT license, GA license, 50 state licenses

Schedule & Operating Hours

Providers will work within the clinic's operating hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM EST
• Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Flexible scheduling options with consistent schedule. Full Time only
