iOS Developer
Kforce has a client that is seeking an iOS Developer in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities:
- iOS Developer will design, build, and enhance features across multiple related iOS applications
- Contribute primarily to a core operational app, while supporting feature updates in companion applications
- Own front-end iOS development from concept through release
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define data requirements and validate API integrations
- Participate in technical discussions and brainstorming sessions with fellow iOS developers
- Debug and resolve performance issues and crashes using Xcode and Xcode Instruments
- Implement UI components using UIKit (existing features) and SwiftUI (new development)
- As an iOS Developer, you will manage code changes using GitHub and follow established version control best practices
- Communicate proactively regarding progress, risks, and blockers
- Maintain and improve features across interdependent applications within a shared ecosystem
- 3-5 years of professional iOS development experience
- Hands-on experience with Xcode Instruments for debugging and performance analysis
- Experience building UI with UIKit and SwiftUI
- Experience working closely with backend teams to define and consume APIs
- Solid understanding of Core Data and UserDefaults
- Familiarity with GitHub workflows and collaborative development practices
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Xcode
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team
