Job Description
As a Digital Sales Planner, you will be responsible for building digital media plans and supporting the Sales team in managing the day-to-day agency/client relationships and the pre to post sales process in order to achieve company revenue goals. You will be a member of a highly motivated Digital Ad Sales team at NBCUniversal where account relationship building, and customer satisfaction are keys to a successful candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team up with Account Director(s) and Account Managers on the Sales team to understand agency/client goals and objectives and brainstorm solutions
- Work with all internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Planning Management, etc.) on the development of client RFPs in the pre-sale process
- Create media plans that meet client needs and maximize revenue for NBCUniversal
- Work closely with Planning Managers to tactically drive company-wide goals and improve operational sales process
- Manage client relationships and deliver superior customer service
- Liaise with Ad Ops to ensure campaigns go live as expected
- Combine data analytics and client feedback to configure, operate, and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives
- Communicate with internal teams across Planning, Inventory, Digital Billing Specialists [DBSs], and Ad Ops to ensure campaign performance and help coordinate any needed escalations or resolutions with sales/client
- Ensure post-campaign research studies are properly coordinated, where applicable
- Coordinate with Account Directors on development of renewal strategies based on client/program insights
Qualifications
- Four year degree (B.A.,B.S) or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of digital experience in media planning or client service role
- 2+ years of project media related projects
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrates project management skills
- Digital media Industry experience preferred
- Well-organized and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment
- High energy and teamwork mentality is a must
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
