System Integration Engineer (Network/Connectivity)

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time System Integration Engineer/ Network/Connectivity Engineer to join our team in Mossville, IL! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working alongside development engineers to test software releases for a new product, including real-world validation through passenger vehicle driving and thorough documentation of results.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors to support requirements definition and provide performance feedback.

• Operate within the Autonomy Connectivity and Systems Engineering organization.

• Partner cross-functionally with software, remote control (RC), machine electronics, and Verification & Validation (V&V) teams.

• Coordinate closely with suppliers and field test teams to execute test activities.

• Perform testing across a variety of environments, including laboratory, pickup truck, and on-machine settings.

• Conduct hands-on debugging and troubleshooting using Linux and network diagnostic tools.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors in EE, CE, CS, Network/Systems Engineering AND 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Networking & connectivity design (LTE/5G, routing, bonded cellular).

• Systems integration & troubleshooting.

• Test strategy and execution for embedded/edge systems.

• IP networking fundamentals.

• LTE/5G and/or bonded cellular experience.

• Linux config/debug.

• Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc.

• Test plan creation/execution.

• Requirements tools (Jama/Doors).

(Desired Skills)

• V2X or remote control system experience.

• Python/Bash automation.

• Embedded gateways (Cradlepoint/Peplink/Sierra/etc.).

• Network redundancy/failover.

• RF/antenna basics.

• Safety critical or autonomy exposure.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Clear communication.

• Ownership mentality—drives tasks end to end.

• Ability to simplify complex systems.
