Cafe Worker

Hi!

We are looking for a Front End Supervisor/Cook person to join our team! We are looking to cross train someone who can do both FOH and BOH. FOH would be three shifts a week working the bar, register, taking care of the dining area, etc. BOH would be two shifts a week in the kitchen, cooking breakfast items to order, prepping for items, doing dishes, and maintaining the general flow of the kitchen independently. The FOH shifts are managerial in nature so if you have cafe management or supervisory experience that is a plus.
Our address is 3458 W Lake St, we are located near the Conservatory Green Line stop and the Kimball bus is two blocks away.

Qualifications:

1+ year of barista experience with ability to do at least basic latte art
1+ year of breakfast cooking experience in a commercial setting, preferably in a small independent kitchen
1+ year of supervisory experience in a cafe setting

Pay is $20/hr + tips and right now the schedule is looking like Wed-Sun with kitchen shifts on Thurs/Fri. Cafe hours are 8am-4pm with the kitchen stopping service at 3pm.
