Warehouse / Office Assistant (Part-Time), Cary IL

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to support both warehouse and office operations. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, from order fulfillment and inventory management to customer service and administrative support. Because we are a small office, teamwork and flexibility are key—everyone pitches in where needed.

Flexible hours Monday through Friday 9am to 2pm or 10am to 3pm

Hourly Pay starting at $19 to $20/hr

Warehouse Duties

• Pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Operate a forklift (or be willing to learn).
• Unload incoming containers (monthly).
• Repackage bulk product.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

Office Duties

• Provide customer service support as needed.
• Answer phones in a professional manner.
• Enter and process customer orders.
• Handle billing for orders.
• Enter tracking information into EDI when required.
• Opportunity to grow into additional office responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.

• Flexibility to handle multiple roles and support teammates.

Work Environment

This job operates in both a warehouse and professional office setting . Standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets) is used routinely.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach regularly.
• Frequent use of hands for handling, typing, and packaging.
• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**

This is a part-time, Temp to Hire opportunity with flexible hours, Monday through Friday; scheduling details will be discussed during the hiring process.
