Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging e-learning solutions that support organizational learning and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for the full instructional design lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and quality assurance of online learning programs.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement online learning solutions using instructional design best practices.
- Create engaging, interactive e-learning modules that support organizational training and compliance requirements.
- Develop learner-centered digital experiences that improve knowledge retention and user engagement.
- Participate in all phases of the instructional design process, including needs analysis, storyboarding, content development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Format and upload learning content to learning management systems and test environments.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing of e-learning modules across supported browsers, including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
- Troubleshoot technical and design issues and implement necessary corrections to ensure functionality and accessibility.
- Validate course functionality, navigation, assessments, and learner tracking prior to deployment.
- Stay current on emerging learning technologies, instructional design trends, and e-learning best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of instructional design standards, templates, and internal resources.
- Recommend innovative approaches to improve learning effectiveness and learner engagement.
- Incorporate stakeholder and learner feedback into course revisions and enhancements.
- Develop interactive learning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Audacity, and related software.
- Create microlearning modules, instructional videos, and multimedia learning assets.
- Design visually appealing training materials, including: Training manuals, Job aids, Flyers, Brochures, Training catalogs, Cover pages and graphics
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into engaging learning experiences.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or corporate training.
- Experience creating online learning content and multimedia training materials.
- Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS) environment.
- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Studio.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate.
- Experience with Camtasia, Audacity, Photoshop, or similar multimedia development tools.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and course publishing standards.
- Knowledge of web-based learning technologies and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Minimum Deg ree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Communications, Training & Development, or a related field.
Pay Rate
- $66.00 per h our (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
