Inventory Control Warehouse Team The position of Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventories. This includes checking inventory requirements to guarantee that there are no material shortages resulting from inaccurate inventories. Duties and Responsibilities

• Controls inventory levels by reconciling with the SAP WMS and conducting physical counts when necessary.
• Coordinates with Production Planning to ensure accurate distribution of necessary materials for scheduled production.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance to manage received and inventoried raw materials in accordance to manage received and inventoried raw materials in accordance with policies and handling procedures.
• Performs daily reconciliations after order confirmations have been completed.
• Oversees the handling of daily cycle counting program and performs required inventory adjustments. Establishes the list of materials to be cycle-counted.
• Responsible for Kosher certifications.
• Member of the Recall Team. Performs mock recalls on a regular basis.
• Serves as a back-up for the Raw Material and Receiving Manager.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA, EPA and any other rules and regulations (THINK “SAFETY FIRST”).
• Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.
• Ability to utilize SharePoint and email to input and complete corrective actions and communicate with other department/shifts.
• Ability to check emails regularly and respond accordingly if necessary.
• Ensuring that all personnel reporting to them complete the appropriate annual trainings.
• Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.
• Ability to conduct appropriate accident/incident investigation reporting.
• Review and execute our Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe, relevant, tasty food products; while never comprising quality.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc.

• Participate in the daily staff meeting.
• Utilize this forum to share any ideas or concerns that your department has. Share information with your team members that was communicated at the daily staff meeting.

Skills & Specifications

• 3+ years experience required in inventory control.
• Must b able to drive a forklift
• Computer skills required: Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Requires good organizational skills.
• Requires good phone and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, organized and able to resolve conflict.
• Working knowledge of the Inventory Tracking System.

Inventory Control reports to the Receiving and Raw Material Manager. Pay Rate $19.10/hour Hours: M-TH: 2:30pm - 11pm & F: 10:30am - 7pm
