Machine Operator

2nd Shift - Starts ASAP

Responsibilities

• Reference work orders to set up production lines appropriately.
• Lead the setup and operation of production filling lines following established procedures.
• Facilitate and lead adjustments or repairs to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Accurately document activities using Product History Records (PHRs) as per GMP requirements.
• Ensure quality checks are performed on bottles placed on the line.
• Monitor product filling and packaging equipment for effective operation.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct fill levels are established.
• Communicate any products not meeting quality standards to manufacturing leaders.
• Ensure correct raw materials are used during the production run.
• Complete and report all documentation and production logs.
• Troubleshoot issues on filling equipment to quickly and efficiently resume production.
• Meet and exceed production requirements based on line capacity.
• Maintain an appropriate work pace to achieve production goals.
• Assist in training other manufacturing personnel as needed.
• Ensure adherence to all quality procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Operate forklift and pallet lift as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
