Surface Polish Machine Operator - Macoho Operator

Ingersoll’s US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Surface Polish Machine Operator.

Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate automated wet blast and ultra sonic cleaning process.
• Handle products under clean room conditions.
• Conduct complete set-ups including tray and program selection.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Conducts process auditing.
• Works to applicable process protocols/procedures.
• Quality assurance and labor reporting via Windows based computer systems.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Work OT and weekends as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 1 year of manufacturing experience plus.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  Work in a clean environment wearing appropriate parts handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Intermediate math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated.

This is a 2nd shift (2-10:10pm) position that may require regular overtime based on workflow demands, including long shifts and weekend work.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently, as well as with others, in a team environment. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits, demonstrate safety consciousness, and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.

The Salary range for this position is $18-$22/hr.
