Job Title: Weekend Packer

Job Description

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals for a Weekend Packer position. You will work a 36-hour weekend shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the benefit of being paid for 40 hours. Your primary responsibilities include utilizing computer systems, handling documentation, and managing the accurate filling of liquids and powders into tanks. This role requires physical strength and attention to detail, making it ideal for those who are comfortable with hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use computer systems and handle related documentation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fill liquids and powders into tanks.
• Use scales for accurate measurement of liquids.
• Weigh raw materials accurately according to formula.
• Operate a forklift to move products as needed.
• Handle written compounder materials and computer knowledge.
• Select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch size.
• Pick required raw materials from the warehouse.
• Scan raw materials using barcode scanners for lot number and quantity accuracy.
• Stage and add materials to tanks following manufacturing instructions.
• Fill and pack orders according to sales order, ensuring accurate weight and labeling.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines.
• Be open to cross-training and assisting in different departments.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations, loading, and packing.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and food production environment.
• Proficiency in using scales, pumps, valves, and air mixers.
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs.
• Competence in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Attention to detail for labeling and packing logs.
• Comfortable wearing a respirator.
• Experience with GMP, food manufacturing, compounding, and chemical handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP experience.
• Experience in a cleanroom and food manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This position is set in a GMP food environment, requiring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Candidates must be comfortable working around chemicals and food-grade materials, and wearing a respirator as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
