Pastry Chef – Backstage Catering & Touring Events
We need desserts that sing!
Goddess Rocks! is a high-energy backstage catering company serving concerts, touring artists, and major live productions. We are looking for a wildly creative Pastry Chef to lead our dessert program and produce beautiful pastries and desserts for events ranging from 50–500+ guests .
Your days will start with freshly baked muffins, scones, and breakfast pastries , move on to cookies, bars, cookies and cakes for lunch , and finish with show-stopping desserts for dinner service . We want desserts that make people stop, grab their phone, and say “who made this?”
This is a fast-paced environment where multiple shows may be happening at once, so strong organization, creativity, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.
Requirements
- 4+ years professional pastry experience
- Strong baking and pastry fundamentals
- Creativity and dessert development skills
- Knowledge of vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergy-friendly baking
- Strong time management and organization
- No fear of long hours and long weeks
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, move safely in shared spaces, and spend hours on your feet
- Reliable transportation to our West Side kitchens and downtown venues
- Ability to travel
- Must be cool backstage - no photos, no gossip!
Compensation:
· Pay range of $21-$27.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and portfolio
· We pay overtime after 8 hours daily, and weekly OT is customary for this position
· We offer flexible days off, when you are off…but you will be on a lot during the season!
