Lotus Wellness Center, is a mental health counseling and alternative wellness group. Our mission is to hold a welcoming, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space for our clients and to help them uncover the best healing modalities that work for them. Our practitioners bring forth their unique styles, experience and niches to integrate the mind, body, and spirit as a whole. We offer a range of more traditional psychotherapies such as psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, and ACT, psychological evaluations and assessment, specialized trauma care such as somatic experiencing, brainspotting, and EFT tapping; as well as alternative healing modalities including mindfulness meditation, clinical and spiritual hypnotherapy, energy psychology, therapeutic yoga, career and life coaching as well as body oriented modalities: chiropractic care and holistic pain management. We are eager to invite likeminded professionals to our team!

Ideal candidates:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology or a related field
• Active Illinois license (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D)
• Active Liability insurance
• Knowledge of the DSM 5 and effective assessment and treatment of mental health disorders, particularly: anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, grief and loss ( additional training will be provided as advised during supervision)
• Training in EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, CCTP, or another trauma related training is a plus
• Experience with CTB, DBT, and/or ACT is a plus

• motivated, self-directed and enthusiastic to learn therapists who are looking to contribute their skills and expertise to assist clients
• great communication skills and ability to collaborate in an integrative team environment ( even while telehealth, our team members are in constant contact as we each bring different skills, areas of interests and niches to the table!)

• work from the comfort of your own home on your own schedule with flexible scheduling
• interest in working with teens, adults, families (couples and children depending on your experience and interests)
• build your caseload in a group private practice (approximately 10-35 clients per week based on your availability).

Flexible hours allow you to create your own schedule. Due to the demands of clients, candidate are required to offer at least two evening hours and possible weekend availability (several hours on a Saturday morning as an example).
