Looking to grow your CNC career in a modern, automated environment? We’re hiring a CNC Machinist to operate mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers while working with robotic automation systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working with advanced manufacturing technology.

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers
• Work with robotic systems for automated loading/unloading and part transfer
• Perform tool changes and adjust offsets to maintain part quality
• Troubleshoot CNC machines, robotics, and automation systems
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Monitor automated production cells to ensure efficiency and uptime
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and robotic systems
• Follow safety and quality standards (including AS9100)
• Document machine settings, process improvements, and production data

What We’re Looking For

• CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or multi-axis)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measurement tools

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Knowledge of G-code / M-code
• Experience with robotic automation or machine tending
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems

Shift Options:

1st Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (+ optional Friday OT)

2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (+ optional Friday OT)

• ✅ $1.25/hour shift differential (2nd shift)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.
