CNC Turning Programmer (Fanuc/Mastercam)

Join a stable, multi-location manufacturer (est. 1968) in Bedford Park, IL, where work-life balance and a tight-knit culture set the pace. As our CNC Turning Programmer, you’ll be hands-on in a job-shop environment producing components for the rubber roller industry—writing code, setting up Doosan lathes, and running parts to tight tolerances.

Location & Schedule

• On-site in Bedford Park, Illinois
• Full-time, 40-hour workweek with overtime as needed

A day in the life

• Develop precise G-code and Mastercam toolpaths for CNC lathes (2–4 axis and 5+ axis Doosan)
• Set up machines, select tooling and workholding, and dial in speeds/feeds
• Run first article inspections and document results
• Troubleshoot programs and equipment issues to keep jobs on schedule
• Interpret complex blueprints/drawings to meet close tolerances
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and complete daily documentation

What you’ll bring

• Strong programming capability in G-code and Mastercam
• 3+ years setting up and operating CNC lathes (experience on other equipment is a plus)
• Fanuc control proficiency
• Skilled with precision metrology: calipers, indicators, and related tools
• Blueprint literacy and at-the-machine programming experience preferred
• Initiative and a team-first mindset in a fast-paced shop
