Are you open-minded? Lovers Playground is looking for a friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves creating an exceptional shopping experience for a diverse clientele by using your customer service and sales skills. You'll be required to assist customers at their discretion in finding products, answering questions professionally and discreetly, and ensuring everyone feels comfortable exploring our merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, identify their needs, and provide recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and process transactions.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised.
• Educate customers about product features and benefits. (You'll learn about all of the newest toys in the industry.)
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves
• Adhere to loss prevention procedures.
• Contribute to creating an enjoyable and non-judgmental atmosphere for customers and coworkers.
• Work with the team to achieve sales targets and store goals.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer engagement skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
• Comfortable discussing adult content with professionalism and discretion.
• Knowledge of adult products (or a willingness to learn).
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to adhere to a flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
