This position involves being part of a small crew helping with full landscaping duties for multiple apartment communities in the Indiana (50%) and Central Illinois (50% home each day when in IL) area. This individual will work with their crew while assisting the onsite maintenance teams with preventative maintenance, turning apartments and other projects as needed. We pay up to $20.00 an hour and offer steady full time/ year round work with a solid company!

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs Team in effectively and efficiently achieving best possible results in all assigned tasks, including but not limited to:

• Tree removal and trimming (trees of all sizes near and above buildings utilizing proper pruning techniques with ability to identify trees that need to be trimmed or removed)

• Driving and operating a utility bucket truck

• General plant maintenance including but not limited to planting, pulling weeds, raking,
trimming, and pruning, etc.

• Caring for, maintaining, and keeping inventory of all landscaping-related company supplies and
equipment

• Snow removal (when applicable)

• Manages, maintains, and inventories all project-related supplies, material purchases, company vehicles and equipment

• Operates Company vehicles as needed, including but not limited to maneuvering loaded trailers (bucket truck)

• Manages and coordinates 3rd party vendors as needed

• Available to assist onsite maintenance teams with work orders and unit turns as needed ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

• Available to travel throughout Indiana and Illinois to various properties multiple weeks each month (including overnight stays) to ensure landscaping needs are met and maintained.
