Tax Support Specialist - Accounting
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in both individual and entity-level tax preparation within a fast-paced environment.
- Software Mastery: Immediate, "plug-and-play" proficiency in UltraTax and the QuickBooks suite is essential for this short-term window.
- Analytical Rigor: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to synthesize complex financial data into compliant filings.
- Professional Communication: The ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly, whether in internal research memos or client-facing advisory.
- Commitment: Availability to commit to the full 6–8 week duration of the contract with a focus on hitting key filing deadlines.

education: Associate Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation & Review: Preparing, reviewing, and filing, individual and corporate income tax returns, as well as handling state and local sales tax issues.
- Compliance & Research: Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, conducting tax research, and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Client Advisory: Offering tax planning strategies for current and future years to minimize tax liability.
- Data Analysis & Documentation: Analyzing financial data for accuracy and maintaining organized client tax documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilizing tax software, UltraTax & Quickbooks desktop and online versions for efficient data entry and processing.
