Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound.- Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details:- Provides ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients.- Performs two-dimensional echocardiography, M-mode, color flow, pulsed and continuous-wave Doppler, and contrast echocardiography.- Assists with exercise and non-exercise stress testing, dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), functional/pharmacological cardiolite, holter monitoring, and event monitoring.- Pediatric echocardiograms are also performed.- Participates in regional mobile echo/vascular service.- Uses computerized documentation systems, software-driven testing machines, and digital archive systems.

Shift & Scheduling:- Mon-Fri, 715am - 345pm.- Start times: 645, 700, 715, 730.- Weekend rotation.- Holiday rotation.- Rotating weekday call 4p-7a.- Participates in callback rotation.

Floating Requirements:- Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital.- The Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
