About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics in our fast-paced production environment. This role ensures materials are received accurately, organized properly, and delivered to the production teams (screen printing and embroidery) in a timely manner. On the outbound side, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every order ships on time, accurately, and with the highest level of organization.
This position is central to our growth—helping us build and refine systems that streamline receiving, storage, and shipping, while improving efficiency and communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation
- Manage product receiving, check in goods against purchase orders, and communicate shortages/damages
- Organize incoming goods and ensure they are staged correctly for screen printing and embroidery teams
- Build and maintain systems to track materials from arrival to final shipment
- Coordinate with production managers to align shipping/receiving schedules with daily and weekly production needs
- Oversee packing, labeling, and shipping of all completed orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and storage areas to support efficient workflow
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Train and supervise shipping/receiving staff, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Work with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) to schedule pickups, resolve issues, and manage costs
1+ years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, or logistics management (apparel/printing industry a plus)
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Familiarity with shop management systems (Printavo experience a big plus)
- Ability to create and follow SOPs for logistics and fulfillment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to lift and move boxes of apparel and supplies as needed
