Automotive Quality Manager

We are looking to bring in an Automotive Quality Manager for our team. Must have IATF experience.

Description

Leads and schedules internal audits, ensuring timely completion and effective resolution of all findings.

Facilitates management review meetings and drives follow-through on action items.

Ensures full compliance with all requirements of the quality and environmental management systems.

Oversees the corrective action process, including documentation, tracking, and verification of completed actions.

Maintains and updates all controlled documents within the quality and environmental management systems.

Enhances and manages the quality tracking system to support continuous improvement.

Provides accurate, current quality data to support decision-making and overall quality performance.

Develops and updates job instructions to ensure consistent and reliable product quality.

Partners closely with quality and operations teams to sustain and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

Conducts floor audits to verify adherence to job instructions and established standards

Evaluates gaging and calibration activities to ensure alignment with quality requirements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, sorting, and other core functions.

Strong ability to draft, edit, and manage documents in MS Word.

Expert-level knowledge of TS 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.

Previous experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Automotive industry experience is required.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elmhurst, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
