Job Description

• Performs a combination of specialized duties involved in the planning, estimating scheduling and organizing of project related jobs.
• Familiar with AbbVie standards and specs along with codes governing the tasks which are being estimated.
• Estimates time for jobs, prepares material list and specifies tools and necessary safety equipment when required.
• Orders parts from stockroom; initiates purchase requisitions for job materials and spare parts.
• Coordinates work with other Supervisors, Group Leaders and operating departments.
• Plans daily work load and works with the Group Leader to assign the appropriate trades person to perform the work.
• May be required to perform the duties of a Sr. Trades person on emergency jobs or as directed.
• Will be required to regularly lift a minimum of 25 Ibs, occasionally a maximum of 50 Ibs. during the work shift.
• Review and execution of maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diplomas or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a trade specific to position applying for within a commercial or industrial work environment.
• Good math skills are essential.
• Good human relation, documentation and communication skills.
• Must be experienced with computer maintenance management systems, e-mail and calendaring.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have multi-skilled trades capability and be familiar with the application and operation of all basic maintenance tools and equipment used by various trades groups.
• Must be knowledgeable of various computer systems and programs used in maintenance operations.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

• This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
