Staff Design Technologist (AI Experience Systems & Governance) at a glance...
You will operate at the intersection of Design, Engineering, and Product to establish the systems, guardrails, and workflows that enable teams to build high-quality, human-centered, and enterprise-grade products by default. You will define and scale how user experiences are created in an AI-accelerated development environment. As GenAI and AI-assisted development (“vibe coding”) increase the speed and accessibility of software creation, this role ensures that experience quality, consistency, and system integrity scale alongside it.
What's on the menu?
1. Define Experience Blueprints
Establish standardized experience models for core product patterns (e.g., dashboards, workflows, forms, decision interfaces)
Define information hierarchy, layout structures, and interaction patterns
Translate business problems into repeatable, system-driven experience frameworks
2. Embed Design System into AI-Driven Workflows
Ensure enterprise design system (e.g., Delish) is integrated into GenAI and AI-assisted development environments
Drive adoption of system components, tokens, and patterns in generated outputs
Identify gaps in system coverage and partner with engineering to rapidly close them
3. Develop Experience Prompt Frameworks
- Create structured prompt libraries that encode:
UX best practices
Accessibility standards
Information hierarchy and decision logic
- Enable engineers and product teams to generate human-centered, system-aligned outputs
4. Establish Experience Quality Guardrails
Define lightweight evaluation frameworks for usability, consistency, and system adherence
Introduce “experience linting” for AI-generated and manually built interfaces
Create feedback loops to continuously improve output quality
5. Detect and Correct Pattern Drift
Monitor inconsistencies across products and AI-generated outputs
Identify breakdowns in design system usage and blueprint adherence
Feed insights back into system evolution and prompt refinement
6. Define Golden Path Workflows
Create standardized workflows for building common product experiences
Align workflows to design system, blueprints, and prompt frameworks
Enable teams to follow the fastest path to high-quality output
7. Enable Adoption and Capability Building
Deliver targeted enablement sessions on building quality experiences with AI
Demonstrate best practices through real-world examples and prototypes
Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering to embed new ways of working

I have 6–10+ years of experience in product design, UX engineering, design systems, or related fields
I have strong systems thinking with the ability to translate complex problems into scalable solutions
I am proficient with design tools such as Figma and prototyping environments
I am familiar with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML/CSS, component-based architectures)
I have experience working in cross-functional product teams within complex, enterprise environments
I have experience contributing to or scaling a design system
I have exposure to AI/GenAI tools in design or development workflows
I have experience building high-fidelity prototypes (code or no-code)

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$141,500.00 - $176,900.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
