Job Posting: Maintenance Staff (Part Time)
6am-1pm
1pm-6pm
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Staff member to join our team. As a Maintenance Staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of our public facilities and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist in the upkeep of buildings and recreational areas, ensuring they remain clean and safe for public use.
- Participate in seasonal maintenance activities such as snow removal, landscaping, and general cleaning.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with other team members to efficiently complete projects and tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in general maintenance, including basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude when interacting with the public.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and objects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
