Residential Construction New Home Walkthrough Agent (PT) - North Chicago

About the Role
This work-as-needed position is designed for residential construction professionals who take pride in providing stellar customer service and building enduring relationships. As a crucial member of our organization, your primary focus will be delivering exceptional service to new home buyers and ensuring a high level of customer retention. You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of our company, assisting clients as they embark on one of life’s most exciting journeys—moving into a new home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly customer service to new home buyers and builders.
- Conduct new home orientations and walk-throughs, ensuring every detail is addressed and documented.
- Meet with clients on-site, clearly communicating procedures, answering questions, and documenting potential construction issues to ensure a smooth transition into their new home.
- Maintain regular communication with the Director of Field Operations and Strategic Accounts, reporting on progress and performance.
Travel & Work Setting
This is a remote position. However to perform this job, you must reside in or near North Chicago . Availability and flexibility is key! You’ll regularly travel within North Chicago, Wisconsin & the surrounding area.
Our Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for motivated individuals with carpentry, installation, home inspection or renovation, fire fighter or similar experience who will bring energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence to the table. Our team members are known for their positive attitudes, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships with ease.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A background in residential construction is preferred, as is demonstrated experience with walk-throughs and construction documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. You should be comfortable speaking with new home buyers and builders alike.
- High-level proficiency with iPad, Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Expert, and Adobe PDF.
- Great interpersonal skills and a knack for relationship-building with both clients and team members.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods as part of daily fieldwork.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
