About Us: Maison Pasquale is a European-inspired gourmet food and wine shop located in the heart of Roscoe Village, Chicago. We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of cheeses, cured meats, fine wines, tableware, provisions, and much more. Beyond retail, we invite customers to stay awhile and enjoy our cozy dine-in space, where we serve ‘apero’-style bites, sandwiches, and seasonal boards—along with the perfect bottle of wine right off our shelves. At Maison Pasquale, we’re passionate about creating a warm, welcoming experience that makes everyone feel as though they’ve stepped into a 'Maison' of their own.
Position Summary: We’re seeking an enthusiastic, food service driven, Deli Specialist with a passion for excellence to join our team! As a key part of our store, you’ll help create delicious experiences for our customers. This position is responsible for preparing and executing our daily food service menu, with items to include but not limited to: sandwiches, salads, cheese & charcuterie boards, and soups. This also includes prepping all of the sandwich/food service components (such as: dressings, slicing meats, chopping vegetables, etc.). Previous culinary experience is preferred, the ideal candidate has previously worked in a deli setting but not required.
While this is a 'back-of-house' position, the food service area is visible to customers therefore the candidate must be willing and happy to interact with guests. This position requires a love for food and a commitment to delivering an outstanding deli experience.Recommended Jobs
